festvox-us2 software package provides mbrola-us2 voice support for festival, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install festvox-us2
festvox-us2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the festvox-us2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep festvox-us2 *
